The event attracted a competitive field under optimal conditions, featuring cloudy skies and a mild temperature of 8 degrees, with no wind to hinder performance.

In the men's race, Biruk Aduna Kebede from Clayton-Le Moors and Matthew Ramsden from Blackburn Harriers emerged as the top finishers, both clocking impressive times of 29:23. They broke away from the pack early, with James West and Jacob Cann initially leading the charge until the 3K mark. Richard Allen from Leeds City secured third place with a time of 29:30, followed closely by Brandon Quinton from Warrington, who finished in 29:37. Leeds City dominated the team standings, taking first place, followed by Border in second and Preston Harriers in third.

The women's race was equally thrilling, with Jessica Warner-Judd from Blackburn narrowly edging out Hannah Nuttall from Charnwood. Warner-Judd finished in 321, just one second ahead of Nuttall. Emily Haggard Kearney claimed third place with a time of 337, while Heather Townsend from Leeds City finished fourth in 34:22. Leeds City again showcased their strength in the team results, finishing first, followed by Border and Preston Harriers.
