Great Britain`s Athletics Stars Shine in Apeldoorn

Great Britain`s athletes excelled at the European Indoor Championships, with George Mills and Amber Anning leading the medal charge.

Great Britain`s athletics team delivered impressive performances at the European Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn, securing multiple medals across various events. The women`s 4x400m relay clinched a silver medal, showcasing the strength and teamwork of the British squad. Individual standout performances included George Mills, who earned silver in the 3000m, and Andrew Robertson, who made his mark with a medal in the 60m event. Revee Walcott-Nolan also contributed to the medal tally with a strong performance in the 1500m.

Amber Anning highlighted her talent by claiming a gold medal in the 400m at the World Indoor Championships in Nanjing, following a disqualification in Apeldoorn. The domestic scene also saw remarkable achievements during the U15/U17 Indoor Combined Event and Para Championships. Leila Newth triumphed in the U17 women`s pentathlon, while Chloe Lewis excelled in the seated shot put.
