George Mills and Georgia Hunter-Bell excelled at the UK Athletics Indoor Championships, setting records and securing titles.

The Microplus UK Athletics Indoor Championships delivered thrilling performances at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on February 22-23, 2025. George Mills set a championship record in the men’s 3000m, finishing with an impressive time of 7:40.16. In a remarkable display of speed, Jeremiah Azu clinched victory in the men’s 60m, clocking in at 6.56 seconds, showcasing his prowess as the European U23 100m champion.

Olympic bronze medalist Georgia Hunter-Bell dominated the women’s 1500m, securing the title with a time of 4:13.23. An unexpected twist came in the women’s 3000m, where Hannah Nuttall triumphed over Laura Muir, finishing in 8:49.49. Neil Gourley also made headlines by setting a new championship record in his event, further emphasizing the competitive spirit of the championships.
