
In the under-17 boys` 60m hurdles, Hans Nmaju of Cambridge Harriers clocked an impressive 7.95 seconds, securing his position as the seventh fastest in UK history. Celine Obinna-Alo, at just 14 years old, equaled the second-fastest time in the UK all-time under-17 rankings for the women`s 60m with her run of 7.38 seconds.
Lawson Capes, grandson of the legendary Geoff Capes, dominated the under-17 men`s shot put with a throw of 18.59 meters, placing him third on the all-time UK rankings for his age group. Other notable performances included Annabelle Fasuba winning the under-15 girls` 60m in 7.53 seconds and Teddy Wilson clinching victory in the under-20 men`s 60m with a time of 6.74 seconds.
The championships also saw impressive results in the long jump and middle-distance events, with Thea Brown and Shaikira King setting the stage for future competitions. Iolo Grant`s championship record in the under-20 men`s 800m with a time of 1:59.59 further emphasized the high level of competition at this prestigious event.
