The American ski sensation finished 0.61 seconds ahead of Croatia`s Zrinka Ljutic, with her teammate Paula Moltzan securing third place, just 0.64 seconds behind. This remarkable win comes after a challenging recovery period for Shiffrin, who had been sidelined due to injuries from a crash in November.

At 29 years old, Shiffrin not only extended her record for World Cup wins but also tied the legendary Ingemar Stenmark for the all-time record of 155 podium finishes. Her emotional victory was a testament to her resilience, as she expressed gratitude for the support during her recovery. Shiffrin led after the first run and maintained her dominance in the second run, showcasing her exceptional skills in the slalom discipline.
