The 2025 UAE Tour commenced on February 17, featuring a thrilling 138km sprint stage from Madinat Zayed Shams Solar Park to Liwa Palace. Top contenders like Tadej Pogačar, Jasper Philipsen, and Sam Welsford are set to battle for sprint victories throughout the event.

This WorldTour cycling event showcases a variety of stages, including a challenging 12.2km individual time trial on Al Hudayriyat Island and two summit finishes at Jebel Jais and Jebel Hafeet. The competition has already seen its share of drama, with a high-speed crash in the final kilometer of stage 1 involving multiple riders, including Viviani and Valter, though thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.

UAE Team Emirates is aiming for success on home soil, led by Adam Yates, Brandon McNulty, and Jay Vine, offering multiple options for the general classification.
