在巴黎的奥运与残奥赛场上，美国夫妇汉特·伍德霍尔与塔拉·戴维斯·伍德霍尔分别夺得金牌，谱写动人佳话。汉特在残奥T62级400米决赛中以46.36秒赢得生涯首枚残奥金牌，击败世界纪录保持者费洛斯。而妻子塔拉则在8月8日的巴黎奥运会上夺得女子跳远金牌。汉特表示，妻子的信念和支持给予他巨大鼓励，使他实现梦想，赛后更以金牌向已故伯伯致敬。
