FIFA Seeks To Expand Women's Olympic Football

FIFA has said it will propose expanding the women's Olympic soccer tournament from 12 teams to 16, as well as the addition of futsal and beach soccer to the games.

The global governing body released its "Strategic Objectives" this week for 2023-2027, which include modifications it hopes will be implemented ahead of the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
