The draws for the 2021 ABSA Cup will be conducted on Thursday, March 4 in Lusaka.

According to a circular issued to qualified clubs by Zambia Premier League Interim Manager Brian Mulenga, all is set for the draws that have attracted six teams from the FAZ/MTN Super Division and two teams from the FAZ/EDEN University National Division One League.

Qualification to the competition is reserved for the top six teams in the Super Division and two teams in the National Division as at Week 17 of the football season.

The eight teams are Zesco United, Zanaco, Forest Rangers, Lusaka Dynamos, Prison Leopards, Kabwe Warriors, Konkola Blades and Kansanshi Dynamos.

The ABSA Cup makes a return to the annual football calendar after last year's edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Zesco United are the last team to have won the competition in 2019 after they beat Zanaco 4-1 at Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.
