MediSept, a 7-a-side tournament set up by the Ivorian federation, begins this weekend in Koumassi.

the Ivorian Rugby Federation sets up the Sport and Development program of the European Raid Guild funded by AFD and Fifa, finally to use sport as an ally in the prevention of non-communicable diseases.

The 1st stage of the Medi'sept will be held at the Agora de Koumassi on Saturday March 27, 2021 and will begin with a rugby sevens tournament for children aged 8 to 10. The boys and girls of the 14 participating schools will have been introduced to the practice of the oval ball beforehand via their PE teachers. Regarding the medical aspect, doctors dispatched by the Ministry of Health will prevent and assess risk factors (people at risk will be referred to partner care centers). Flyers will be distributed to raise awareness about hygiene and prevent non-communicable diseases.

To ensure the show and the festivities, musical entertainment, dance competitions, stands and fun workshops around the ball will punctuate the day and amuse young and old! Before concluding the day with the presentation of trophies and a big party worthy of the most beautiful 3rd half!
