Dino Sporting Club wishes to clarify the situation regarding the status of our player, Afolayan Temitope Peters.

The player was recalled by Dino Sporting Club following Heartland FC's failure to fulfill their obligations and formalize a loan agreement after the expiration of the initial two-season loan contract.

Prior to the commencement of the 2024/25 season, Heartland FC approached our management requesting a loan extension for the player. They pleaded for the player’s registration while negotiations were ongoing, citing an urgency to meet league registration deadlines.

Despite our cooperation, Heartland FC failed to execute the loan agreement, and repeated efforts to finalize the arrangement were unsuccessful. Consequently, Dino Sporting Club had no choice but to recall Afolayan Temitope Peters.

We categorically state that the player did not go AWOL, as falsely claimed by Heartland FC. Furthermore, the club confirms that no loan fee was received from Heartland FC for this player.

Dino Sporting Club has all relevant documentation to substantiate these claims and will release them if necessary.
