The Nigeria U20 women's team, known as the Falconets, launched their FIFA World Cup campaign with an impressive 1-0 victory over Korea Republic at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogota, Colombia. A late goal from Flourish Sabastine was the highlight of the match, securing a vital three points for the Falconets and putting them in a favorable position to advance to the Round of 16.
