Chinese players have showcased impressive performances at the 2025 Malaysia Open badminton tournament. In the men's singles, top seed Shi Yu Qi advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating fellow Chinese player Lu Guang Zu with a score of 21-18, 21-16. Shi is set to face the winner of the match between Chou Tien Chen from Chinese Taipei and Japan's Tanaka Yushi in the next round.

In women's doubles, the Chinese duo of Jia Yi Fan and Zhang Shu Xian displayed their skill by defeating India's Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand with a score of 21-15, 21-19, 21-19.

China's dominance continued in mixed doubles, where seventh seeds Cheng Xing and Zhang Chi triumphed over India's Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto with scores of 21-13 and 22-20. The performances of these players highlight China's strong presence in the tournament.
