Soon Huat-Shevon keep flame burning

Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Lai Jemie's careers were spared an early retirement when they partnered in November 2016. However, given their ongoing difficulties on the Badminton World Federation (BWF) tour this year, the two may find themselves in a similar predicament now.

Although Shevon has become wiser with age, the pair's Olympic goal appears to be fading as they have fallen from as high as the world No. 6 ranking in mid-year to the No. 15 spot.
