Sunderland maintained their push for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship with a narrow 1-0 victory against Portsmouth at the Stadium of Light. The decisive moment came early in the match when Wilson Isidor scored in the seventh minute, capitalizing on a well-placed pass from Eliezer Mayenda and firing the ball into the corner of the net. This victory marks back-to-back wins for Sunderland under manager Regis Le Bris in 2025.
