He ran a 10.04 in the 100-meter, and a 20.04 in the 200-meter.
His time in the 100m was so fast, it clocked in as the 4th-fastest time in history by anyone under 18.
Unfortunately, because he had an illegal tailwind, the time didnāt count in the record books.
His 20.04 sec in the 200m, though, was legal - and broke a 56-year-old record for the fastest time in Australian history.
ļæ½It was the 2nd-fastest time for an under-18 athlete in world history.
And it also broke Usain Boltās record for a 16-year-old. A teenage Bolt ran the 200 in 20.13 seconds back in 2003.
Gout Gout is doing all this at just 16 years old. And with his powerful stride and 6-foot frame, itās possible he can get even faster.
