FIFA Allocates $50 Million for Social Programs

FIFA, through the 2022 World Cup legacy fund, will allocate $50 million to support social programs in collaboration with the WHO, WTO, and UNHCR. This includes the "Beat the Heat" initiative to protect workers in extreme heat due to climate change and the Women's Export Fund aimed at empowering women in international trade and the digital economy through grants and technical assistance.
