McGuinness earns first Republic of Ireland call-up

Mark McGuinness, a center-back for Luton Town, has been called up for the first time to the Republic of Ireland's significantly altered roster for their Uefa Nations League matches against Finland and Greece this month.
Jack Taylor, an uncapped midfielder for Ipswich, is included in the 24-man squad alongside McGuinness, 23, who was a fixture for the Republic's Under-21 team.
Wolves defender Matt Doherty is benched by coach Heimir Hallgrimsson after receiving backlash for his performances in the Nations League losses to England and Greece. Seamus Coleman, the team captain, is also sidelined due to injury.
