Sinner beats Safiullin in Beijing

highest ranked After overcoming Roman Safiullin 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the China Open's second round on Saturday, Jannik Sinner discovered that his steroid lawsuit is far from finished.
The U.S. Open champion Sinner tested positive twice for an anabolic steroid in March, but the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) on August 20 announced that an independent tribunal had not suspended him because the ITIA found Sinner was not at fault. The World Anti-Doping Agency announced while Sinner was playing in Beijing that it was seeking a ban of one to two years for the player.
