Alcaraz trumps Fritz in Europeā€™s 13-11 victory

Carlos Alcaraz, the four-time Grand Slam champion, defeated Taylor Fritz 6-2, 7-5 as Team Europe overcame Team World 13-11 to win the Laver Cup on Sunday.
In the eleventh game, Alcaraz broke Fritz, the runner-up at the U.S. Open, and sealed the title on serve. This set off celebrations in Berlin, where the Europe team was reunited with captain Bjorn Borg.
After leading 8ā€“4 on points going into the last day of competition, Team World was the clear favorite to win the Laver Cup for a third consecutive year.
