RFU to cut 42 staff in bid to balance books

The Rugby Football Union is planning to fire around 40 employees in an effort to curb "unsustainable" losses.
As part of a reorganization, 22 new positions were established and 64 responsibilities were at risk of being eliminated.
The men's, women's, age-grade, and development teams in England will not be directly impacted by the changes, according to the RFU, which has promised to "protect headcount and investment" in the community game.
