London-born Coutya left Tokyo 2021 with two bronzes both as an individual and as a team.
Coutya, however, hopes to equal Gilliver's feat in his third Games after witnessing the athlete win Epee A gold in the Japanese capital. Both athletes are a part of a four-person Great Britain squad that was announced on Wednesday, along with Oliver Lam-Watson and Gemma Collis, who were also competitors in Tokyo.
