Proteas Reach T20 World Cup Final, Gauteng Bus Driver Praised for Heroism

The South African national cricket team, known as the Proteas, has qualified for the final of the T20 World Cup after ruthlessly defeating Afghanistan {60/1 (8.5)-56 (11.5)}. This marks the first time the Proteas have reached the showpiece event of the tournament. Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Gauteng, a bus driver with 15 years of experience is being praised for his bravery and quick thinking after a passenger was shot and killed in a suspected targeted attack on the bus. The driver drove the bus 500 meters to a safe location, asked passengers to disembark and seek safety, and then returned to the scene to await the arrival of the police.
