This marks the first time the Proteas have reached the showpiece event of the tournament. Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Gauteng, a bus driver with 15 years of experience is being praised for his bravery and quick thinking after a passenger was shot and killed in a suspected targeted attack on the bus. The driver drove the bus 500 meters to a safe location, asked passengers to disembark and seek safety, and then returned to the scene to await the arrival of the police.
