Clinical Wilson pulls clear against Gilbert

In their World Championship semi-final, Kyren Wilson outscored David Gilbert 14–10 with a masterful show of potting.

Following a resumption at 8-8, both players amassed half-century stretches as the very competitive and excellent match continued in front of a packed Crucible Theatre.

12th in the world Wilson then overcame his opponent's uncommon blunders to win five straight frames, breaking through with breaks of 93, 51, and 88. Gilbert then answered with an incredible 101.
