Broom-Edwards wins third successive world title

Jonathan Broom-Edwards of Britain won the high jump at the Para Athletics World Championships in Kobe, making it three straight.

Broom-Edwards, the Paralympic champion and 2019 world gold medallist, shared the gold medal with Maciej Lepiato of Poland at the previous year's Worlds in Paris.

The 35-year-old's first-time clearing of 2.04 meters in Japan was sufficient to win gold.
