Arsenal beat Everton to keep up pace in title race

After defeating Everton handily to start 2024, Arsenal kept up the pressure on Chelsea, the leaders of the Women's Super League.

Caitlin Foord scored the first goal for the Gunners after just nine minutes, tapping in a feed from Victoria Pelova from close range. The Gunners dominated the game.


The fact that Everton's Katja Snoeijs received a Karoline Olesen through pass and slotted past Manuela Zinsberger gave them a warning for not extending their lead right away.
