Cricket Ireland says Singh faces fight for life

All-rounder Simi Singh of Ireland is reportedly in "life-threatening health circumstances" and needs a liver transplant due to acute liver failure.
Following confirmation of the situation, Warren Deutrom, the chief executive of Cricket Ireland, extended "best wishes and prayers... as he takes on this new fight" to the 37-year-old Singh, calling it "shocking" to learn of his critical illness.
