Ferguson takes hat-trick as NZ win dramatic T20

New Zealand defended 108 to defeat Sri Lanka in a low-scoring second Twenty20 match at Dambulla, with Lockie Ferguson taking a hat-trick and Glenn Phillips taking three wickets in the last over.
On a slow, turning surface, off-spinner Phillips was instrumental in getting opener Pathum Nissanka, who had batted through for 52 from 51 balls, caught at long-on with the second delivery. The hosts needed just eight runs from the last over.
After Sri Lanka got a single, Maheesh Theekshana was caught off the penultimate delivery with six runs required, and Matheesha Pathirana was dismissed for a golden duck on the following ball.
