The TGL postpones the launch of its competition until 2025

The roof of the compressed air dome at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, collapsed on November 14 following a power outage. No one was injured in the incident. The virtual league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy was scheduled to begin on January 9. “This decision was made after reviewing short-term solutions, possible construction timelines, player schedules and the prime-time sports television schedule,” a TGL(tech-infused golf league) statement said. “Despite this new schedule, we remain excited about the future of TGL and will continue to build excitement among our players, fans and teams between now and the start of the season.”
