Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar has weighed in on team selections, advocating for Shreyas Iyer to secure the No. 4 batting position. Meanwhile, KL Rahul is recommended for the No. 5 spot, leveraging his dual skills as a wicketkeeper and batsman, with a solid average of 49.15 from 2,851 runs in 72 innings.

The Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee is expected to finalize India's squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy by the end of this week. The tournament is set to commence on February 19 in Pakistan, although India's matches will reportedly be held in the UAE.
