Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar has weighed in on team selections, advocating for Shreyas Iyer to secure the No. 4 batting position. Meanwhile, KL Rahul is recommended for the No. 5 spot, leveraging his dual skills as a wicketkeeper and batsman, with a solid average of 49.15 from 2,851 runs in 72 innings.

The Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee is expected to finalize India's squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy by the end of this week.
