Wightman outperformed his competitors, including Thomas Keen, who secured the silver medal with a time of 9:45.87, and Thomas Bridger, who finished third in 7:53.66. In the women's category, Sarah Calvert of Livingston AC emerged victorious, achieving a personal best time of 9:15.67. She finished ahead of Stefanie Tucker from Cambuslang Harriers and Lynn McKenna of Shettleston Harriers. Other notable performances included Reiss Marshall winning the U20 Men's gold in 8:20.77, Zara Redmond taking the U20 Women's title in 9:40.29, and Eilidh Dallas securing the U17 Women's gold in 9:48.68.
