Eckroat defends his title at the 2025 Cognizant Classic, while TGL and LPGA events heat up.

The 2025 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches kicks off the PGA Tour`s Florida swing on February 27. Defending champion Austin Eckroat returns to the course, though he is listed as a 50-1 longshot in the betting odds. World No. 18 Shane Lowry leads the field as the 20-1 favorite, with strong contenders Russell Henley, Sungjae Im, and Sepp Straka all at 22-1 odds. The tournament boasts a total purse of $9.2 million, with the winner set to take home $1.656 million and 500 FedEx Cup points.

In TGL action, the Atlanta Drive Golf Club secured a playoff spot by defeating Boston Common Golf 6-3 in the 11th match of the inaugural season. Atlanta`s team, featuring Justin Thomas, Billy Horschel, and Patrick Cantlay, dominated the Singles matches after winning the only point in the Triples session. The next TGL match on February 25 will showcase Tiger Woods` Jupiter Links Golf Club against The Bay Golf Club.

On the LPGA front, the Honda LPGA Thailand concluded on February 23 with a winning score of -21. The tour now shifts to the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore from February 27 to March 2.
