Wofford`s women`s lacrosse team faced a tough defeat against Coastal Carolina University, losing 20-13 at Gibbs Stadium. The Terriers initially took the lead but found themselves trailing 10-6 at halftime. Bria Foley was the standout player for Wofford, contributing four goals and three assists. Carlie Cutinella also made her mark with three goals and an assist, while the team collectively managed 29 shots compared to Coastal Carolina`s 43. Goalkeepers Ella Smithers and Hannah Taylor each recorded three saves in the match.

In a thrilling upset, the seventh-ranked Washington and Lee women`s lacrosse team stunned No. 2 Salisbury with a decisive 13-7 victory. The Generals showcased their dominance with two impressive 5-0 scoring runs, limiting the Sea Gulls to just three consecutive goals throughout the game. Junior Iman Haddad was exceptional in goal, achieving a career-high 17 saves. Lara Baki opened the scoring for W&L, while senior Brianna Benoit played a crucial role in the team`s offensive success.
