Michael Jung leads the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event, while Kent Farrington wins the CSI5 Grand Prix with Greya.

Michael Jung has solidified his dominance at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrianâ„¢, riding FischerChipmunk FRH. After a strong cross-country performance, Jung maintains a commanding lead as he heads into the final show jumping phase. The competition has seen a reduction in the CCI5-L field, with notable withdrawals including Tim Price`s Jarillo and Ema Klugman`s Bronte Beach, leaving 23 horses to vie for the top honors.

In the Cosequin Lexington CCI4-S, Colin Gaffney made the decision to withdraw Baymax, while Ema Klugman`s RF Redfern successfully passed re-inspection, allowing 37 competitors to advance to show jumping.

In a thrilling display of skill, Kent Farrington and Greya clinched victory in the $400,000 Kentucky International CSI5 Grand Prix, showcasing a flawless performance that captivated the audience. As anticipation builds for the Kentucky Derby, American Promise emerges as a potential contender, drawing interest under trainer D. Wayne Lucas from post position five.
