Townend leads British clean sweep in Kentucky

Oliver Townend, the gold medallist from the Tokyo Olympics, led his country to victory in the Kentucky Three-Day Event with a one-two-three score.

Before Sunday's showjumping portion, Townend and his horse Cooley Rosalent were in third place.

However, they defeated world champion Yasmin Ingham on Banzai Du Loir and Tom McEwen on JL Dublin in a clear round to win the championship.
