Canberra Raiders opened the 2025 NRL season with a commanding 30-8 victory over the New Zealand Warriors at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The Raiders showcased their strength, setting a positive tone for the season ahead.

Melbourne Storm delivered an electrifying performance against the Parramatta Eels, winning decisively 56-18. Ryan Papenhuyzen starred with two tries, while Nick Meaney converted seven out of nine attempts, contributing significantly to the Storm`s dominant first half, where they scored eight tries.
