The NRL`s Witzer Pre-Season Challenge featured intense matches, including the Warriors vs. Storm and the All Stars showdown.

February 15, 2025, witnessed thrilling action in the National Rugby League as the 2025 Witzer Pre-Season Challenge continued with a Super Saturday double-header. The first match featured the Warriors taking on the Storm at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton. The Warriors made strategic changes to their lineup, with Te Maire Martin stepping in as fullback and Taine Tuaupiki moving to the wing. Chanel Harris-Tavita took over at five-eighth, while Marata Niukore transitioned from the bench to the starting side. Demitric Vaimauga also made his mark starting on the interchange. The Storm responded with Josh Billing starting as an edge forward, filling in for Ativalu Lisati.

In the second match, the Rabbitohs hosted the Sea Eagles at Industree Group Stadium in Gosford. This game marked the club debut of English halfback Lewis Dodd for the Rabbitohs, who faced a formidable challenge from the Sea Eagles` powerful edge forwards. The intensity of the match showcased the competitive spirit of both teams as they prepared for the upcoming season.

Later that evening, the NRL All Stars match took place at CommBank Stadium in Sydney, where the Maori All Stars edged out the Indigenous All Stars with a narrow 10-6 victory. Co-captains Dane Gagai and James Fisher-Harris led a talented Maori squad featuring stars like Kalyn Ponga and Kodi Nikorima. Despite a valiant effort from the Indigenous All Stars, including standout performances from Jayden Campbell and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, they fell short against the resilient Maori defense.
