India`s squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 features Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, with matches in Dubai.

India has announced its 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan and the UAE. Rohit Sharma will lead the team as captain, with Shubman Gill serving as vice-captain. The squad features prominent players including Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah, among others.

Before the Champions Trophy, India will engage in three bilateral ODIs against England on February 6, 9, and 12. These matches mark India`s first 50-over games since their tour of Sri Lanka in August of the previous year. India is placed in Group A and will kick off their Champions Trophy campaign against Bangladesh on February 20, followed by crucial matches against Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2. All of India`s matches will take place in Dubai, as the Indian government has prohibited the team from traveling to Pakistan.

On the domestic front, Karnataka has secured the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the fifth time, defeating Vidarbha by 36 runs. Karun Nair stood out in the tournament, finishing with an impressive average of 389.5. Additionally, the form of key players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has been a topic of discussion, especially following their performances in the 2024/25 Test season. Robin Uthappa also made headlines by defending Virat Kohli`s captaincy, praising him as a great batter amidst criticism.
