Nepal cricketer Lamichhane convicted of rape

The former captain of Nepal's cricket team, Sandeep Lamichhane, was found guilty on Friday of sexually assaulting a minor.

The decision was made by the single bench of the Kathmandu District Court, which is led by Judge Shishir Raj Dhakal, after the last sessions, which commenced last week, were concluded, according to the Kathmandu Post.
