Sandeep Lamichhane found guilty of rape

Sandeep Lamichhane, a spinner from Nepal, was convicted guilty of rape and may spend up to ten years in jail.

The most well-known cricket player in Nepal, 23 years old, was taken into custody in October 2022 and is presently free on bond.


The victim was 18, not 13, as had been previously claimed, the court found at the time of the offense.
