Maharashtra players celebrated their Kho Kho World Cup victory, receiving significant rewards and job offers from the government.

Maharashtra`s Kho Kho stars were honored for their remarkable achievements at the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup 2025, held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The Maharashtra government recognized nine players from the victorious men`s and women`s teams, each receiving a substantial reward of Rs 2.25 crore. Coaches were also celebrated, with each awarded Rs 22.5 lakh for their pivotal roles in guiding the teams to success.

The ceremony highlighted the leadership of team captains Pratik Waikar and Priyanka Ingle, whose strategic prowess was instrumental in securing India`s historic victory.
