Counterfeit Olympic Medal Racket Lands Brazilian in Suspended Sentence
A 39-year-old Brazilian man was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended, for peddling counterfeit Olympic medals in Paris. The man, who arrived in France on July 14th, rented an Airbnb in the 10th arrondissement, where police found over 850 fake medals and €1,000 in cash.
