Akwa United`s win over Enyimba highlights key NPFL match results, reshaping league standings and intensifying competition.

Akwa United secured a vital 2-1 victory over Enyimba at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, breaking their eight-game winless streak. Olayemi Ogunleye opened the scoring in the 28th minute, but Enyimba`s Issah Mohammed equalized just before halftime. Uche Sebastian netted the decisive goal in the 75th minute, lifting Akwa United to 18th place with 23 points.

Katsina United halted Heartland FC`s five-game unbeaten run with a 1-0 win, while Shooting Stars maintained their second position with a late 1-0 victory over Bendel Insurance.
