Ideye Shines Again for Enyimba

Brown Ideye continued his impressive form by coming off the bench to score the decisive goal in Enyimba's 2-1 victory over Nasarawa United in a rescheduled NPFL match. The match saw Joseph Atule put Enyimba ahead just before halftime, scoring in first-half stoppage time.

Nasarawa United equalized in the 58th minute through Anas Yusuf, who is currently the leading scorer in the NPFL. However, Ideye made an immediate impact, netting the winning goal just four minutes after his introduction, marking his second consecutive game with a goal.

This victory has lifted Enyimba to seventh place in the league standings, accumulating 27 points from 17 matches. In contrast, Nasarawa United remains at the bottom of the table with 19 points from the same number of matches. Ideye's performance is particularly noteworthy as it follows his goal on his CAF Confederation Cup debut against Black Bulls of Mozambique, making it two goals in three matches for him since returning to the league after an 18-year absence.
