Amokachi resigns as Lobi Stars manager amid struggles, while Shooting Stars excel in NPFL.

Daniel Amokachi has stepped down as manager of Lobi Stars following a dismal run that sees the team languishing at the bottom of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) table. With only 22 points from 24 matches and no wins in their last five outings, Lobi Stars will now be led by assistant coach Tar Akombo in their upcoming clash against Shooting Stars.

In a contrasting scenario, Shooting Stars SC is enjoying a remarkable form, having won five consecutive matches while maintaining clean sheets, placing them third in the league, just three points behind leaders Remo Stars. Recent match results from Week 24 saw Bendel Insurance triumph over Niger Tornadoes 3-0, while Heartland Owerri edged past Shooting Stars 2-1. Enugu Rangers also made headlines by defeating Remo Stars 2-1.

In player movements, Brown Ideye, a seasoned AFCON 2013 champion, has joined Enyimba FC as a free agent, adding depth to the squad. For more details on the coaching changes, visit NPFL coaching changes and for match results, check recent NPFL results.
