Gardner and Aegerter Gear Up for Donington Showdown

Excitement builds at Donington Park as Gardner and Aegerter aim for glory in the Superbike Championship.

At Donington Park, the atmosphere is electric as Round 7 of the 2025 FIM Superbike World Championship unfolds. GYTR GRT Yamaha riders Remy Gardner and Dominique Aegerter are poised for a thrilling weekend, each with their sights set on strong performances. Gardner, fresh off a points-scoring weekend in Misano, is brimming with optimism, eager to harness the Yamaha R1`s historical prowess at this iconic track. Meanwhile, Aegerter makes a confident return from injury, ready to reclaim his spot among the front-runners.

The weekend also marks the return of the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team, featuring Sara Sanchez and Natalia Rivera in Round 3 of the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, both targeting podium finishes. Gardner expressed his determination to maximize every session, undeterred by the unpredictable UK weather, while Aegerter highlighted his readiness and past successes at Donington Park.

As the British GT Championship gears up for its second sprint weekend at Snetterton on July 12-13, 23 entries across the GT3 category promise fierce competition on the Norfolk circuit. Concurrently, the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 celebrates the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, uniting current drivers and past champions in a spectacular hill climb. Amidst these events, Haas faces challenges in F1, with team principal Ayao Komatsu urging his squad to seize opportunities and avoid costly errors.
