Larson`s Emotional Win at Bristol Motor Speedway

Kyle Larson`s emotional victory at Bristol honors his late friend, while Denny Hamlin celebrates his 400th Cup start.

Kyle Larson delivered a stunning performance at the Bristol Motor Speedway on April 13, 2025, leading an impressive 411 of 500 laps in the NASCAR Cup Series. This victory marked his second win of the season and the 31st of his career, coming at a poignant time just days after the loss of his close friend and former public relations representative, Jon Edwards. Larson dedicated this emotional win to Edwards, stating, "This one is definitely for Jon."

Denny Hamlin finished in second place, celebrating his milestone 400th consecutive Cup start. Ty Gibbs, Chase Briscoe, and Ryan Blaney completed the top five, showcasing a competitive field. The race was notable for its minimal caution flags, with only three yellow flags, the fewest since 1982, allowing for a fast-paced and thrilling event. Larson`s flawless driving left fans and competitors in awe.

In other motorsport news, Romet Jurgenson claimed his first overall win at the Carlisle Stages in the British Rally Championship, dominating the event with the fastest time on four out of five stages. Meanwhile, in the World Superbike Championship at Assen, Toprak Razgatlioglu took first place in the Superpole Race, while the Super GT season opener at Okayama saw the seven x seven Racing team finish eighth in the GT300 category. The next NASCAR Cup Series race is set for April 27 at Talladega Superspeedway.
