Makhachev Retains Title at UFC 311 with Submission Win

Makhachev retained his lightweight title at UFC 311, while Dvalishvili set a takedown record in his bantamweight defense.

Islam Makhachev successfully defended his lightweight championship at UFC 311, held on January 18, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Makhachev faced Renato Moicano, who stepped in as a last-minute replacement for the injured Arman Tsarukyan.
